About Me

Hi! I’m Ricky Phillips, a Junior Front-End Developer and Computing & IT student at The Open University, graduating in May 2025. I’m passionate about crafting responsive, mobile-first web applications that deliver seamless user experiences.

With hands-on experience from internships and freelance projects, I’ve developed skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress, and I’m comfortable working with design tools like Figma. I love turning UI designs into clean, functional code — and I’m always eager to learn new technologies and best practices.

I’ve contributed to projects ranging from custom game logic for Blueprint Gaming to rebuilding websites for nonprofits. My strengths include problem-solving, adaptability, and collaboration, and I’m excited to grow into a Senior Front-End Developer role where I can mentor others and contribute to agile, high-performing teams.

When I’m not coding, I enjoy staying up-to-date with web development trends and improving my skills in areas like CI/CD pipelines and Test-Driven Development.
